  • Applications will be processed as quickly as possible. Some courses may require further interviews or information from applicants.

    Accepted participants must pay the deposit fee in a timely fashion in order to hold their spot in the workshop. If the fee is not paid by the deadline, we will have to open the spot up to those on the waiting list.

    These courses are in high demand and One North Clown and Creation must have participant commitment in order to make them financially viable.

  • All prices are in Canadian Dollars (CAD). In Ontario we have a 13% harmonized tax which will be added to the base cost of all applicable services.

    If you reside in Canada, the best way to pay for the program is by e-transfer. We also accept cheques and money orders.

    If you reside outside of Canada we accept Bank Wire transfers only through wise.com

  • For those who live outside of the Sudbury region, there are several ways to get to Sudbury, Ontario, Canada. We are about a 4.5 hour drive north of Toronto, Ontario.

    Sudbury also has an airport with easy transfers through Toronto via Air Canada or Porter Airlines, and with Bearskin Air if coming through northern communities.

    There are also bus routes for the bus line Ontario Northland which stops at the terminal in Sudbury and sometimes directly at the University.

    Participant pick-up and drop-off from either the Sudbury Airport or Ontario Northland bus terminal can be arranged for students.

    Sudbury Airport: $25.00 + HST per person, each way

    Bus Terminal: $10.00 + HST per person, each way

    There is free daily and overnight parking for all participants of the workshops.

  • The residence is intended for participants of the workshops only. No extra guests will be permitted during the workshop days.

    All rooms are single occupancy.

    Participants will need to bring their own bedding.

    Kitchens and gender neutral washrooms are shared.

    All kitchen appliances, cookware, flatware and utensils are provided. Food is the responsibility of the participants.

    No pets are permitted.

  • Individual course schedules will differ, but generally class time with the instructor will be held from 9:30am - 5:30 pm each day.

    Most of the courses we offer are intensives, participants should keep their personal schedules free during the evening hours as there will be homework and preparation for the next days class.

    There will be a daily lunch break of 1-1.5 hours, and smaller breaks throughout the day.

    Some courses may run classes in the evenings after a dinner break.

  • One North Clown and Creation cannot provide a refund should a participant contract COVID 19 during the workshops and need to isolate and miss class.

    Although masks are not required, participants are encouraged to wear a mask if it makes them feel safer.

    Participants who contract COVID 19 will not be able to continue in the course as too much class time will be missed in isolation.

  • One North Clown and Creation reserves the right to cancel programming if not enough participants have enrolled to make the course financially viable. We will keep participants updated about the enrollment status.

    We will make a decision about cancellation no later than 2 weeks before the course start day.

    All deposits and payments for course fees, residence, and shuttle service will be refunded in the event of a cancellation by One North Clown and Creation.

    We are not responsible for any personal financial loss as a result of cancellation ie. travel costs, etc. Participants take a risk on the cost of travel if no cancellation insurance is purchased.
