About Shadow Puppetry Lab/ à propos de LABO le Théâtre d’Ombre

Jenny Hazelton and France Huot of Hoquet/Hiccup are performing partners in crime. Of the many creative modalities they practice one of their favourites is working with shadow puppetry, specifically using retro overhead-projectors.

In this course participants will spend 5 days in a laboratory setting testing out techniques of shadow puppeteering and colliding the use of this form among other story-telling modalities.

Participants will have opportunities to work solo or collaboratively, bring works in progress or start from scratch. All materials will be provided.
